Lambing Area

As a ewe approaches her lambing date, she is moved to our group lambing area.  After lambing, she and her lambs are moved into their jug (pictured above) so that they can bond and the lambs have a chance to get colostrum uninterrupted.  The lambs and ewe typically stay in these jugs for 2-3 day and are then released back into the larger group lambing area.  We have found that these green interlocking gates make quick and easy jugs.
